Kopitiam & hawker (unvaccinated) series: The japanese ramen shop

Craving for some japanese ramen during this time? No problem, come to this kopitiam.

This kopitiam is quite interesting as it serve different kinds of cuisine, thai, korean, japanese.

Today i am here to have my RAMEN. Specifically Shinjitsu Ramen.

I ordered the Tonkotsu special because it the only one with the ramen egg and the pork slices (chasu). I like the egg that is soft boiled in the middle. The broth is quite decent. Not as unami as i would have like. Noodles is not too shabby as well.

Overall, this is a satisfying meal. Yay ramen craving settled.

Kopitiam & hawker (unvaccinated) series: The smoking Joe - western food (restaurant style hawker price)

The plating like restaurant standard. The garlic bread could have been better. It has turned soft by the time it has been served up. The chicken is well marinated and grilled to perfection. Mashed potatoes could do with a little more sauce.

Overall, a decent western food. It is also quite pricey but you could save like 10% if you use the app for the hawker centre.

Kopitiam & hawker (unvaccinated) series: Yummy korean food that leaves you satisfied

A really decent place to get your korean cravings satisfied. Annyeong Chicken

I personally love the pancake and this totally satisfies my craving for the korean food. This is very crunchy and very tasty. More than half of this ended up in my tummy.

Korean Sweet Spicy chicken wings are well fried with the crisp and juiciness but the sauce could have been a little more spicy and savory.

I love the flavour of the egg from the Tornado kimchi fried rice. The kimchi fried rice is ok but not very impressive. I will support this dish again if they serve it up as an egg dish. Hah.

Most definitely will go back to try their Ginseng Chicken soup and the pancake again. Chicken wings in other flavours will also be on my to try list.

Pros: As authentic as you can get.

Cons: A little pricey but beggars can't be choosers now can they?

They close really early like 8 pm so go early for your korean cravings fix. Don't say bo jio!
